The Amera CT Approach

We understand that undergoing a CT (Computed Tomography) scan can be a confusing and even stressful journey. That’s why we’ve crafted an experience that prioritizes your well-being while delivering exceptional diagnostic services.

Before Your CT Scan

After checking in at the front desk, you’ll be guided to a private room to change into a gown. Some scans require IV contrast, which the technician will administer if needed.

During Your CT Scan

Your technician will explain the procedure as you are led to the CT scanner. You will lie on the table and move into the scanner. Remain still during the scan, which takes 10 to 30 minutes, as our equipment captures detailed images. You may be asked to hold your breath for short periods.

After Your CT Scan

Once your CT scan is complete, you will be guided back to a private room to change. Your CT scan images will be promptly reviewed by our expert team of radiologists, with results shared with both you and your healthcare provider.
