The type of MRI best suited to you depends on your needs and the nature of your examination. While your physician may refer you to a traditional MRI, an open MRI may be a suitable alternative, especially if you’re claustrophobic, obese, anxious, or need to be positioned differently during the procedure.

Results are usually available within 24 hours, as a report from our radiologist is sent to your referring physician as soon as it is completed.
